This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the head of the region’s police, Ivan Vygovsky.

It is noted that cases were instituted under the articles “Group violation of public order”, “Mass riots”, “Violation of the equal rights of citizens depending on their race, nationality or religion,” “Blocking transport communications, as well as seizing a transport company”, “ Threat or violence against a law enforcement officer. ”

Earlier it was reported the initiation of two criminal cases in Ukraine after the riots due to the evacuation from China.

According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Aleksey Goncharuk, the evacuation was carried out in secrecy in the interests of the safety of citizens and because of possible provocations and “special operations”.

On February 20, Kiev evacuated 45 citizens and 27 foreigners from the PRC, which it was decided to quarantine at the medical center of the National Guard of Ukraine Novye Sanzhary in the Poltava region. The decision of the authorities provoked protests from local residents, which grew into riots and clashes with the police.
