Alexandre Kantorow was doubly sacred Friday evening at the Victoires de la musique classique, as an instrumental soloist (piano) and in the "recording" category with Saint-Saëns, Piano Concertos 3,4 & 5, called "l'Egyptien".

In the composer category, a composer was awarded, with Camille Pépin for "The Sound of Trees", for clarinet, solo cello and orchestra (creation / France).

Karine Deshayes (mezzo-soprano) won the lyric artist trophy, tied with Benjamin Bernheim (tenor), who was not present. In the "revelation" categories, Marie Perbost was designated lyric artist and Gabriel Pidoux, instrumental soloist (oboe).

In addition, the great Russian diva Anna Netrebko and the countertenor Philippe Jaroussky also received a Victory of Honor.

Finally, long applause greeted Florent Charpentier, solo clarinet, who spoke, microphone in hand, on behalf of the national orchestra of Metz (place of the ceremony), and more generally musicians, against the reform project retirements.

Deploring a loss for the musicians of "more than 1,000 euros per year", he concluded: "therefore do not be surprised to see them again mobilized".
