A few minutes later Jean-Philippe Agresti, head of this sector's list for Martine Vassal, regretted by press release an "altercation, instigated by the provocations of the team of Mr. Gilles at the end of which our activist had to be transported to the hospital ".
He puts this aggression on the back of "difficulty in the polls and [of] lack of notoriety" and regrets "these methods of another time by Bruno Gilles which recall the worst hours of Marseille political history". Does it refer to the death of Ibrahim Ali, a young Marseillais of Comorian origin assassinated 25 years ago today for stickers of FN posters? A few days ago, Martine Vassal had filed a complaint against an activist in possession of a butter knife in her bag.
