Madinah police arrested a Saudi who shot a car driver and when he stopped, he intentionally ran him over, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

For his part, the media spokesman for Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Police stated that at twelve o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, security patrols started a report that a person had shot a "Anova" car and had a bullet in the back glass. The site, following the perpetrator by the security patrols, barricaded himself inside his house in the Taybah neighborhood, and opened fire on the security men, which required the house to be raided and arrested.

The spokesman pointed out that the perpetrator was a Saudi in the fourth decade of age, and that this resulted in the injury of three security men and their transfer to the hospital.

Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region, was reassured about the health condition of injured security men sleeping in King Fahd Hospital, as a result of the shooting incident that took place today.

During the visit, Prince Faisal directed to provide the necessary medical care to the injured, stressing the great role of the security men, praying to God to grant them health and wellness and pay them in the performance of their duties in the service of the nation.
