As noted in the department, at present, the limit of the administrative fine for offenses provided for by the laws of the subjects of Russia (except for cities of federal significance) is 5 thousand rubles for citizens, 50 thousand rubles for officials, and 1 million for legal entities rubles.

The draft new Code of Administrative Offenses proposes to partially revise this norm.

So, for citizens the limit will remain unchanged (5 thousand rubles), for officials it will be 50 thousand rubles, for individual entrepreneurs - 100 thousand rubles, and for legal entities the maximum fine will be halved.

“Thus, the draft new Code of the Russian Federation does not provide for fundamental changes to the current approach to setting administrative fines for offenses under the Code of Administrative Offenses, and for offenses under the laws of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation (with the exception of cities of federal significance), reduces the maximum allowable administrative fine for legal entities from 1 million rubles to 500 thousand rubles, ”RT explained in the press service of the department.

The Justice Ministry also reminded that the public discussion of the draft of the new Code of Administrative Offenses continues.

Earlier, the Ministry of Justice promised to improve the draft new code on administrative offenses, taking into account the opinion of society.
