With a significant increase in the number of patients with Coronavirus Infection-19 (Corona 19) in Korea, Taiwan has newly designated Korea as a travel alert area.

According to the Taiwan China Times News, the Taiwanese Disease Control Agency has included South Korea as the first state of travel.

The Taiwanese government manages travel alerts by dividing them from the lowest 1st level to the highest 3rd level.

Taiwan encourages citizens to follow local precautions when going to Level 1 areas.

Currently, Taiwan is designating Japan, Korea, and Thailand as the first-class regions, Singapore as the second-class region, and mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau as the third-class regions to refrain from any unnecessary travel.
