Pesticide residues: Grapes sold at Rewe recalled

Langenfeld (dpa) - Grapes sold at the supermarket chain Rewe have been recalled due to an increased level of pesticide residues. The supplier Eurogroup Germany said that it is strongly advised not to eat the grapes.

The recall applies to «Thickson seedless« table grapes with lot number 07-03 and GGN 4063061228598, which are sold in the 500 gram pack and sold in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg, Berlin, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania and Thuringia were. The grapes come from India. They can be returned in the supermarkets. The purchase price will be refunded according to the information.
