Anne Hidalgo leads, with 24%, of the voting intentions in the first round of municipal elections in Paris, ahead of Rachida Dati (LR), now closely followed by the LREM candidate Agnès Buzyn, according to an Ipsos / Sopra Steria poll released on Thursday.

The outgoing socialist mayor is ahead of Rachida Dati (20%) by 4 points and Agnès Buzyn (19%), new head of the macronist list in the capital, by 5. His predecessor, Benjamin Griveaux, was credited in recent weeks by about 16% in the polls.

Behind the top three, environmentalist David Belliard (EELV) collects 13% of voting intentions, ahead of mathematician Cédric Villani, now ex-LREM, at 9%, according to this survey for France Info.

Two previous polls carried out since Ms. Buzyn's entry into the competition, credited Anne Hidalgo with 23%, Rachida Dati with 23% to 25% and the macronist candidate with 17%.

Far behind, the LFI list of Danielle Simonnet collects, according to Ipsos, 5% of voting intentions and that of Serge Federbusch, supported by the RN, 4%.

The list of the former adviser of François Hollande Gaspard Gantzer, who rallied on Thursday to that of Agnes Buzyn, was credited with 1.5%.

Four candidates obtain close scores on their capacities "to be a good mayor of Paris": Anne Hidalgo and Agnès Buzyn 45%, Cédric Villani 43% and Rachida Dati 42%. David Belliard is at 22%.

Finally, 48% of those questioned want an alliance between the Buzyn and Villani lists before the first round and 51% between the two rounds.

Survey carried out online from February 18 to 19 among 1,000 people registered on the electoral lists, according to the quota method. Margin of error from 1.4 to 3.1 points.

Voting intentions do not constitute a forecast of results, they give an indication of the power relationships and dynamics on the day of the poll.
