The forces of retired Major General Khalifa Hifter today targeted the axis of the plateau project, south of the Libyan capital, Tripoli, with a number of "Grad" missiles, wounding a number of oil facilities of the Brega Oil and Gas Marketing Company.

Whereas, the internationally recognized Al-Wefaq government forces confirmed the death of at least 25 gunmen and the families of Haftar militias in the fighting that took place at dawn at the mixers ’axis south of the capital.

"Initial information indicates that more than 25 gunmen were killed in the ranks of the militia of Haftar at dawn on Thursday," said Mustafa al-Majei, a spokesman for the media center for the Burkan anger operation, which is affiliated with the al-Wefaq government.

He added, "The attack of our forces came to respond to the militia targeting Haftar our artillery positions, which prompted us to attack and incurred losses in equipment, lives and other families."

Other fighting axes south of Tripoli and east of Misurata are witnessing a calm calm, as the parties maintain their positions as the military build-up continues.

A field commander in the Al-Wefaq forces said that Haftar's forces continue to violate the truce declared at the Berlin conference, and that they randomly target Tripoli neighborhoods and civilian facilities, warning that this would lead to the collapse of the truce, which he described as fragile.

These field developments came while the President of the Presidential Council of the Government of Al-Wefaq Fayez al-Sarraj announced that the international community should recognize the impossibility of conducting peace negotiations under the impact of the bombing, calling for a "strong signal" from international parties before the talks could resume.

The Presidential Council had suspended its participation in the negotiations of the Joint Military Commission with the Haftar forces (5 + 5), in response to the bombing of the port of Tripoli yesterday.

Haftar forces bombarded the port with rocket-propelled grenades, targeting the internal port facilities, facilities and wharf.

Pictures showed smoke rising from one of the mooring ships, and a source from the port said that tankers carrying fuel and gas had been removed as a precaution.

An official source in the port confirmed that the bombing of Haftar forces did not cause any casualties or material damage.

Haftar's forces have been waging an offensive to control Tripoli, the seat of the internationally recognized government, since April 4, 2019, which has aborted efforts by the United Nations to hold a dialogue conference between Libyans.
