Los Angeles (dpa) - That could be fun: 24 years after their last joint film appearance in the comedy "The Club of the Devils", Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler and Diane Keaton want to work together again.
The 74-year-old colleagues take on the main roles in the planned comedy "Family Jewels", as reported by "Variety". The chemistry between the three stars is “unmatched and irresistible,” said the responsible US producer Bradley Fischer to the film portal. The shooting should begin this year.
"Family Jewels" is about three women, all of whom were once married to the same man. When the ex-husband suddenly dies, the widows are forced to spend Christmas with their children and grandchildren. In "The Devil's Club" (1996) the trio took revenge on ex-husbands who had become unfaithful because of younger women.
