"The information that has emerged makes us want to get to the bottom of this, which is why we are making a police report," Lufab's Chairman of the Board Veronika Zetterberg (M), said in a press release.

During the day, Falu Municipality's city attorney Leif Nilsson presented the extended review. The board of Lufab then decided to proceed with a report to the police.

Furthermore, the Board decides that the company must claim damages from the former CEO for pure wealth damage.

Kicked after review

In August last year, the CEO was allowed to leave Lufab after KPMG carried out a review of his practice, work environment and procurement. In November, data were presented that claimed that there were deficiencies in procurement and that internal control had failed. Furthermore, problems with the work environment were pointed out.

The former CEO is now reported to police for gross unfaithfulness to the principal and counterfeiting of records
