According to ABC News, 67-year-old Stone was convicted of misleading congressional investigators on several key elements of their investigation into “Russian interference” in the 2016 elections.
Stone was detained in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in January 2019.
In February of that year, evidence of Stone’s potential contact with WikiLeaks was reported.
