SVT has reviewed Evry's invoices to Statistics Sweden in recent years. Between 2016 and 2018, the Norwegian-listed company then invoiced a total of SEK 33 million.

But Statistics Sweden's money is only a small part of Evry's revenue from public operations.

1.1 billion from public operations

In addition to call center operations, Evry, which last year teamed up with Finnish IT consultancy giant Tieto, offers a range of IT services. Among other things, Evry has taken care of the mainframe operation for CSN and they are an IT supplier for Stockholm County Council. The Swedish Tax Agency and Solna Municipality are also major customers. In total, Evry has invoiced around SEK 1.1 billion from public operations in 2018. The year before, the sum was just over one billion SEK.

Neither has the IT operation functioned smoothly. Their Primula IT system is used, for example, by the National Service Center for personnel and payroll management for many government employees. According to Evry, the system is specially designed for public organizations, but there have been problems. For example, in a debate article in 2019, the prefects at Lund University of Technology called the system a "disaster". Among other things, Lund University has been forced to employ staff to manage their salaries because Evry's system is so poorly adapted to Lund University's "complex organization".

Previously, problems have included, among other things, Evry's mainframe, which had hardware problems in 2017, which affected, among other things, state Green Cargo, SJ's ticket booking and a Norwegian savings bank hard.

SVT has sought the current company Tieto Evry's management with no results.
