Martin and Katja met 28 years ago, they married 20 years ago. He advises car rental companies, she is a secretary. They live with their two grown children and a dog in a village near Hamburg, in a brick house that they built themselves: 240 square meters with a garden, next door to Katja's parents. On this dark afternoon, the dining table is illuminated with subdued light, there is coffee and biscuits. While Martin is speaking, Katja is learning Hebrew in her room, a hobby from her. While she speaks, Martin is preparing a conference call in Katja's room. During the break, they smoke a cigarette together on the terrace.
