21 February 2020 The Guardia di Finanza is carrying out a precautionary custody order against 4 people investigated for the bankruptcy of 'Tecnis Spa' - one of the main Italian construction companies - and a series of subsidiaries, declared by the court of Catania in June 2017. The men of the Yellow Flames are also carrying out seizures of assets for a total value of 94 million. The investigating judge of Catania has ordered house arrests against the four.

From the investigations of the men of the Guardia di Finanza of Catania and of the Currency Police Unit, the previous governance of Tecnis Spa would have put in place "repeated illegal conduct" in the management of the company. On its website, the company defines itself as "one of the most significant companies in the Italian panorama of general construction, engineering and general contracting companies, active in the sector of the construction of large infrastructural works": port and hydraulic works, great road network on rubber and iron , hydrogeological arrangements, primary urbanization interventions, civil construction, hospitals of national interest, conservative restoration of important building structures bound by the State Superintendencies. The charge against the four recipients of the precautionary measure is in competition, of fraudulent bankruptcy for distraction.
