Michael Bloomberg found a very particular technique to gain notoriety in front of the other presidential candidates, in the United States, reports the Wall Street Journal relayed by Slate . The candidate's team running for the Democratic primary is currently hiring nearly 500 people, "digital organizers", to promote it by SMS and on social networks.

Paid the equivalent of 2,300 euros per month, these people must therefore praise the former mayor of New York. A few days ago, her communications team explained that she had already used influencers on Instagram. These are paid in order to create pro-Bloomberg "memes" and thus feed a positive image of him on the Internet.

$ 300 million in advertising

The businessman has already spent the equivalent of $ 300 million just for his virtual image. These advertisements have been viewed on television, radio, and the Internet in a completely innovative way. Paying so many people to promote it is also unusual, reports Slate .

The Democratic primary will take place in just under two weeks. This political event will therefore confirm whether his promotional technique has indeed worked.
