Västerås Folk High School merges with Berglagen's Folk High School - becomes one of the largest in the country

As a result of the merger, Västerås Folk High School will receive another branch in Norberg, in addition to the two branches in Köping and at Bäckby in Västerås, which exists today.

- The merger makes everything simpler and clearer. The hope is that we will reach even more people and further strengthen the education of the people in the county, says Tomas Aronsson, Head of School Västerås Folk High School.

The school announces that as a result of the merger, approximately 700 pupils attend the school.

- Since 1997, when Västerås Folk High School was founded, thousands of people have been offered jobs or chosen to study further, says Lars Forsmark, headmaster of Västerås Folk High School.
