“Since March 2, Turkey has introduced a visa-free regime for citizens of several countries of the Schengen area - Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, and the UK,” RIA Novosti quoted the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Hami Aksoy.

It is noted that the permitted period of stay in Turkey will be 90 days over a 180-day period.

Most citizens of European countries already have a visa-free regime with Turkey.

Earlier, Alexander Kurnosov, vice president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), in an interview with RT, evaluated the new rules for obtaining Schengen visas announced by the EU.
