The president of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, has responded by a letter to the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, that it is impossible for him to attend the negotiating table convened for next Monday between the Executive and the independentistas.
In addition, in the letter Torra asks for an "international mediator" for the dialogue table.
"For personal and agenda reasons, on the 24th it is not possible for me to do it" writes Torra to Sánchez, and proposes 4 alternative dates: on February 21, 26, 27 and 28.
Torra has sent this letter to Sánchez after the Presidency of the Government proposed the date of February 24 to constitute the table of dialogue between governments, a decision that was criticized by the Generalitat, which recriminated the President of the Government to "unilaterally" raise a date without having "agreed" with the Catalan president.
