“The number of victims who were mortally wounded at the crime scenes at Heimarkt and Kurt-Schumacher-Platz has increased to nine,” the statement said.
Currently, law enforcement agencies identify the victims and the shooter.
Eight victims were previously reported. The alleged shooter was found dead in his home. Another body was found next to him.
The shooting occurred in two hookah bars of the city.
