A state of sadness dominated the media in Sudan after the announcement of the death of the broadcaster of the Blue Nile satellite channel, the young retaj Al-Agha, on a sudden evening, at the age of 28.

According to the Sudan News website, the anchor, Retaj Al-Agha, nicknamed Cinderella, the Sudanese media, died yesterday after she suffered a severe drop in blood circulation following a health problem in a hospital in Khartoum, without revealing any other details.

The pioneers of the social networking site, Twitter, contested the obituary of the Sudanese media, confirming that the death was a shock to them, especially as it is still in the youth stage of its life, and some of its colleagues were keen to obey and express their grief due to its loss.

A number of her followers on Twitter wrote posts about her obituary on the social media platforms, listed the merits of the late anchor and put her pictures on their personal accounts, nicknamed her Cinderella the channel.

The late media presented a series of programs on the "Blue Nile" channel, the most prominent of which was "There is no problem", which was highly followed, in addition to the "New Evening" and the morning "FM".

The late broadcaster of the Blue Nile channel was distinguished by a human sense and she was always sympathetic to the weak and the sick, and on Valentine's Day she published a tweet calling for the necessity of caring for cancer patients, and giving them hope and help to overcome their ordeal.

She married Retaj in April 2019 at a ceremony that described royal and privileged.

The star of the Blue Nile satellite channel had previously performed a surgery in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, and reassured her friends about her condition.

At the time, Ritaj refused to disclose the details of the surgery she underwent, as she revealed that it took a large number of hours, and she stayed in Cairo for some time, to follow up with doctors, and check on her health.

The late Retaj Al-Agha was born in 1992 in the city of Shendi in northern Sudan. She joined the Blue Nile channel, several years ago, and was able to draw the attention of viewers to it because of its good content, and she excelled in writing poems.

Retaj Al-Agha gained great fame during the outbreak of demonstrations against the ousted president, Omar al-Bashir, and accused of insulting the demonstrators, but she broke her silence to respond to these accusations, stressing in press statements that she had not insulted the protesters, and that what was promoted is completely false.
