As Putin emphasized, Russia is grateful to "partners for such support, for professional solidarity in the fight against the common threat."

“Of course, we will answer them the same,” he assured.

On December 29, the FSB, according to information received from American partners, detained two Russians who were preparing terrorist attacks in St. Petersburg during the New Year holidays.

On the same day, Putin had a telephone conversation with US leader Donald Trump. During the conversation, the President of Russia thanked his colleague for the information on the upcoming terrorist attacks transmitted through the special services.

Later, Trump called the transfer of relevant information an excellent interaction.
