The quasi-blocking of the examination of the pension reform continues in a chaotic atmosphere Thursday in the National Assembly, between procedural battle led by the Communists, and names of birds flying in the hemicycle.
A lively exchange pitted the rebellious Clémentine Autain against Meyer Habib (UDI-Agir), after a tweet from the deputy describing as "little bullshit" elected members of the left of the left who participated in the successful choreography "Because of Macron ", Monday evening, near the Bourbon palace.
"#ACauseDesPetitesConnes. After the #Macron head on a spade, parody of lynching @EmmanuelMacron (...) @EstherBenbassa @Clem_Autain @ElsaFaucillon unworthy of wearing the scarf", tweeted the deputy a few hours ago. He maintained his expression "because of the little bullshit" in the hemicycle, accusing the elected officials of "stirring up hatred".
Ms. Autain denounced comments "sexist and insulting", arguing that the challenge can be done "in joy and good humor". She was supported in particular by Marie-George Buffet (PCF) who used "vulgar words" from a deputy who does not "accept that women stand up to say what they think".
In the hubbub, LR elected officials argued that the functioning of the National Assembly should not be blocked "by a game of ping-pong". "We are not going to go from tweet to tweet ...", said Eric Woerth (LR).
The PCF deputies once again protested against the disappearance of a thousand of their amendments which had the same purpose, "a fact unseen under the Fifth Republic" according to them. These amendments must fall after the first one is rejected.
"We are the only group to undergo this form of McCarthyism," denounced Fabien Roussel, national secretary of the PCF, targeting the president of the National Assembly Richard Ferrand (LREM).
"In no case is there any question for us of gagging the communist group", assured the president MoDem Patrick Mignola, the boss of the deputies "walkers" Gilles Le Gendre calling on the left "not to drag this controversy indefinitely" .
The communists, but also the rebels, are now trying a new strategy, multiplying the subamendments on each amendment tabled on article 1 of the reform.
"If we sub-amend in this way, it is because President Ferrand has deliberately decided to delete 1,184 amendments tabled by the Communist deputies," explained Mr. Roussel, asking for compensation for "this ignominy".
