“I would like to say a few words about today's report of the Accounting Chamber on budget execution for the past year. The figures of unspent funds are given. I remind you that this is about 1.1 trillion rubles, which is unacceptably a lot, ”said the head of government.
According to him, this year the budget provides for about 4.6 trillion rubles for state contracts.
“February is already ending, but how much money has actually been spent? This is approximately 10%, and if we look at national projects, approximately 12.2%, ”Mishustin added.
He recalled that since last year the "carry-over" on national projects amounted to 149 billion rubles.
“And 362 billion rubles is what passed under state contracts in other areas from last year. Our task is to ensure timely execution of the president’s instructions based on the message, the implementation of national projects, but this trend will not be easy to do, ”he said.
Earlier, the head of the Accounts Chamber, Alexei Kudrin, said that the volume of unfulfilled budget spending over the past year was a record.
According to him, it amounted to 1.122 trillion rubles.
