The smoke caused the intoxication of two people. On Wednesday evening in Bouaye, near Nantes, the firefighters were called to start a fire in a pavilion. According to the fire and rescue service, an electronic cigarette is the source of the fire. The device, placed on a mattress on the first floor of the house, exploded before igniting.
Two men, aged 24 and 56, were transported to the Nantes University Hospital in a "relative emergency". The firefighters indicate that the occupants of the house "have been relocated by the family". For this intervention, around thirty firefighters were mobilized.
