The Abu Dhabi Authority for Early Childhood has warned against the consequences of wrongful interaction with children and the practice of negative behaviors with them, explaining that the child’s early childhood exposure from pregnancy until the age of eight years of violence, abuse or neglect negatively affects his physical, cognitive, linguistic, social and emotional development, which is a burden The family and society must rehabilitate and integrate it, in addition to the serious psychological problems that these behaviors leave on the child, his family and his environment.

The Abu Dhabi Authority for Early Childhood condemned the incident of taunting a mother or her child, which was recently circulated through a video on social media platforms, describing it as an outrageous crime that affects the system of good moral values ​​that characterize the Emirati society, as a behavior that violates the foundations of social life in the state and an intrusion on the fabric of values ​​and traditions Authentic community.

The authority emphasized that caring for children and safeguarding their rights represents the top of the pyramid in the priorities and plans of the authority through its responsibility to build and supervise an integrated system for early childhood in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and focus on key sectors that include health and nutrition, child protection, family support, and early education and care.

She added that childhood represents the cornerstone of building and investing in the development of generations and enabling the human element to keep pace with the process of development and prosperity of the state, which requires everyone to work in a spirit of cooperation and a shared responsibility to adopt child issues and support governmental efforts aimed at upgrading the system of care and support for this important group, indicating that the state It works on the continuous development of the legislative system and employs the best potential and resources in the world in order to achieve a healthy, safe and stable life for children and reject violence, abuse and neglect against them, in addition to its continuous eagerness to provide all means of awareness U generous to them to ensure the achievement of physical growth and mental and behavioral development for them.
