Walker stressed that the essence of this policy is to show the world that Ukraine intends to resolve the conflict.

“I believe that this is a reasonable tactic, because it protects Ukraine from accusations against it,” TASS quoted an interview with the ex-Special Representative of Ukrainian Truth.

He added that in some countries there is a tendency to blame Ukraine.

“You know very well that there is a tendency, especially in some Western European capitals, to blame Ukraine, not Russia ... And Zelensky’s actions do not allow this to happen,” he added.

According to him, Germany firmly supports Ukraine, while France is looking for opportunities to build relations with Russia.

“Ukraine needs to be convinced all the time that its position has support. Otherwise, the negotiations will become too complicated, ”Walker said.

Earlier Zelensky discussed with American senators the expansion of assistance to Kiev in the field of defense.
