- Catalonia.Quim Torra postpones the negotiating table until Pedro Sánchez accepts the mediator
The Government has proposed this Wednesday to the Generalitat of Catalonia the celebration in Madrid, next Monday, the 24th , of the meeting to constitute the bilateral dialogue table with which it seeks to channel the political conflict .
Government sources have indicated that the Central Executive has not yet received a response from the Generalita t and indicated that the proposal is framed in the idea of holding this first meeting between the two parties before the end of February , as agreed by Pedro Sánchez and Quim Torra at their recent meeting in Barcelona.
Sánchez and Torra will lead the delegations of the two governments , whose members are still being finalized, who will sit at a table to launch this mechanism that they hope will serve to channel the search for a political solution for Catalonia. Confirmed only that Vice President Pablo Iglesias will be part of the team headed by Pedro Sánchez.
