Microsoft founder Bill Gates, in an interview with the famous YouTuber, Marquis Bronley, on efforts to tackle climate change with clean energy products such as electric cars, revealed that he acquired a Porsche Tycan electric car.

Gates, 64, praised Tesla’s role in pushing other auto makers to adopt electric power, although he did not purchase any of the company’s cars.

He added that electric cars will still lag behind gasoline cars when it comes to the range, but adding passenger cars "is one of the most optimistic factors" in reducing the cost of environmentally friendly alternatives.

"If you had to name one company that helped, it is definitely Tesla," Gates said, praising the company. But he has not yet purchased any of the company's cars, explaining, "I got a Porsche Taikan."

"I have to say it is a very high-quality, amazing car ... This is the first electric car, and I enjoy it very much," he added.

After those remarks, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted, blaming Gates for the acquisition of Porsche Tycans, and said, "My talks with Gates were disappointing ... to be honest."

My conversations with Gates have been underwhelming tbh

The price of the "Titan Turbo" from "Porsche" company is about 151 thousand dollars in the United States, while the price of its model "Turbo S" exceeds 185 thousand.

It is known that the "Tesla" cars are expensive, but the price of its Model 3 is much less than the price of Porsche and is about 40 thousand dollars.

Musk's response to Gates buying a "Tekan" car instead of "Tesla" was to ask why he made this decision as long as he admits that the credit for bringing this technology is up to Tesla.

This is not the first time that Mask has criticized one of his tech colleagues on Twitter. Two years ago, he criticized the optimistic attitude of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg about artificial intelligence, saying that "Zuckerberg's understanding of the topic is limited."
