Socialist senator Bernie Sanders is well ahead of his two main opponents, former vice president Joe Biden and billionaire Michael Bloomberg, in the race for the Democratic nomination, reveals Washington Post-ABC poll *, published this Wednesday.

According to this monthly opinion poll, Bernie Sanders, driven by his performances in the primaries of Iowa and New Hampshire, collected 32% of the voting intentions of Democratic voters in February, gaining 9 points since January.

A first televised debate for Michael Bloomberg

Conversely, Joe Biden who pranced in the lead the previous month, shows a sharp fall and loses 16 points, now placing second with 16% of voting intentions. In full swing, former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg is third with 14%, followed by progressive senator Elizabeth Warren at 12%.

Pete Buttigieg, who stood out with good results in the Iowa and New Hampshire elections, collected only 8% of the voting intentions.
