A century ago, André Sauvage, avant-garde filmmaker and pioneer of art documentary, painted an original portrait of Paris. This exceptional visit to Paris in the 1920s then invited the public to discover the bustle of the city, the highlights and the working-class districts of a rapidly changing capital. A year later, François' son Victor, now an orphan, receives a notebook from his mother's notary. The latter had asked that this document be given to her once the two parents had died. From the 17th century to the present day, passing through the beginning of the 20th century, what if this manuscript hid a heavy secret in Victor's life? In ours can be too; by questioning our literary and theatrical culture? Molière, The impostor? is a reflection on the importance of truth in history and on the place it occupies in our lives.
