The parties in Tunisia and national organizations in a marathon have entered into critical consultations to resolve the impasse in forming the government, amid talk of "signs of a breakthrough", at a time when the constitutional deadline is about to end within the next twenty-four hours.

According to special data obtained by Al-Jazeera Net, Prime Minister-designate Elias El-Fakhfakh made partial changes to the composition of his ministers, including changing the portfolio of the Ministry of Communication Technology, which he previously assigned to the former leader of the bloc, Lubna al-Juraibi, to be transferred to Fadel Karim, Director General of Tunisie Telecom.

And leaders of the Democratic Current Party have previously restored the cause of the Ennahda movement’s withdrawal from government formation consultations in the last minutes due to its adherence to the Ministry of Communication Technology bag, while the government amendment is also expected to include the Ministry of Interior portfolio.

The honorable name Kareem was previously mentioned by both the head of the Nahda movement, Rashid Ghannouchi, and the Secretary-General of the Labor Union, Noureddine Taboubi, to take over as prime minister, but a demand that clashed with the rejection of the parties, according to local media reports at the time.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Labor Union, Sami Al-Taheri, confirmed to Al-Jazeera Net, the success of mediation that the General Secretary of the Federation, Noureddine Taboubi, fought throughout the day to resolve the impasse in forming the government, playing the mediating role between the political parties, bringing the points of view between the Renaissance and the traps and urged everyone to make concessions.

The head of the "Heart of Tunisia" party, Nabil Karoui, has previously expressed his readiness to participate in the negotiations to form the government in a situation that has been invited, but provided that they take place in the public, at a time when the party's spokesman, Sadiq Jaboun, expressed to Al Jazeera Net their hope to reach a settlement that satisfies all parties in order to avoid the high cost that The state and the people will bear it if the parliament is dissolved.

Decisive position
Al-Nahda Shura Council is meeting this evening to take a decisive stance towards participating in or voting on the trap government, while the movement's leader and Shura member Fathi Al-Ayadi confirmed to Al-Jazeera Net that there are positive signs about Al-Nahda’s stance towards the government.

The President of the Republic, Qais Saeed, had settled a constitutional debate on the different readings of the parties - especially the Ennahda Movement - to Chapter 89 of the constitution, which is related to the scenario of dissolving parliament and calling for early legislative elections if the government did not succeed in gaining the confidence of the people's representatives.

Saeed said during a meeting yesterday evening with the caretaker Prime Minister Youssef El-Shahed and the head of the Renaissance movement Rashid Ghannouchi that he would proceed to dissolve parliament and call for legislative elections if the government of Elias Al-Fakhfakh failed to gain confidence.

He stressed the necessity of resorting to the constitution only and avoiding "innocent interpretations and fatwas, which are not based on scientific grounds," as he put it.
