Syria: Father invents game to distract daughter during bombing - 20 Minutes

Laugh not to cry. This is the adage that Abdullah Mohammad, a 32-year-old Syrian father who lives in Idleb, in the north of the country, has chosen to apply. To change the minds of his three-year-old daughter Salwa, he created a game of laughter as soon as one of them heard a bomb or missile fall. The goal: to reduce the child's stress and psychological distress.

On February 6, bombing killed 17 civilians, including children, in the town of Idleb. Westerners strongly condemned the UN "a carnage" in progress in the province of the same name.
