Al-Jazeera correspondent reported the renewal of Russian raids on the Idlib countryside and Aleppo amid battles between the opposition and the regime, and added that a new Turkish convoy entered Idlib, while a Turkish delegation concluded its talks with Russian officials in Moscow without announcing any measures to save the Sochi agreement.

The Al-Jazeera correspondent had said that a civilian was killed in an artillery bombardment of the regime forces targeting the city of Dana in Idlib countryside.

The Syrian regime forces announced the death of a number of their soldiers in a missile strike targeting their gatherings in the town of Neirab in Idlib countryside, and Orum al-Kubra, west of Aleppo.

Russian fighters also launched raids on the Jericho area in Idlib countryside, and the Atarib area in the western countryside of Aleppo.

The Syrian regime, with direct support from Russia, is launching an attack on the Idlib governorate and part of the countryside of Aleppo, which is the only region that has remained in the hands of the opposition factions, as the regime forces recently took control of large areas after the displacement of hundreds of thousands of residents and displaced persons.

While a Turkish military convoy from the Syrian border entered the Idlib governorate comprising 80 vehicles, including tanks and missile launchers, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the resumption of the conduct of joint Russian-Turkish patrols, after the Turkish side had stopped them for two weeks.

Moscow talks
In Ankara, a spokesman for the ruling Justice and Development Party, Omar Glick, said they clearly informed the Russian side that Ankara had made the necessary military preparations for returning the Syrian regime to the borders of the Sochi Agreement in the event that it did not withdraw by itself.

He added in comments today, Tuesday, commenting on the discussions that took place between the Turkish and Russian delegations, yesterday and today in the capital, Moscow, that the delegation clearly presented Turkey's theses regarding developments in the Syrian province of Idlib.

The Turkish delegation headed by Assistant Foreign Minister Sadat Unal concluded talks with Russian officials in Moscow on northern Syria without announcing any measures to save the Sochi agreement.

The Turkish delegation stressed the need to rapidly reduce tension on the ground and prevent further deterioration of the humanitarian situation. The two sides also discussed measures that can be taken to fully implement the agreements in Idlib, which the parties reached on the Sochi track, as well as to prevent violations.

Violations and warnings
On the humanitarian front, the Syrian Network for Human Rights has documented no fewer than 88 attacks on medical facilities by regime forces and Russia in northwestern Syria, since April of last year.

The network pointed out that these attacks caused 67 medical facilities to be damaged, despite the knowledge of the Russian forces of their location, and revealed that the latest military escalation caused a wave of displacement, the worst since the beginning of the Syrian revolution in 2011.

In turn, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has documented about 300 people, during the latest major attack by the Syrian regime forces in Aleppo and Idlib.

At a press conference, UNHCR called on the Syrian government and its allies to open humanitarian corridors in conflict areas to allow civilians safe passage.

The organization said that more than 150,000 Syrians were displaced in recent days towards the Turkish border, as a result of the Assad regime and Russia's attacks on the de-escalation zone in Idlib.

A UNHCR spokesman considered that the bombing of two hospitals amounted to war crimes, and added that the intensity of attacks on hospitals and schools indicates that it is impossible for the attacks to be "accidental".
