Russia and Italy resume 2 + 2

Russia has resumed the so-called 2 + 2 foreign and defense ministerial talks with Italy, which had been suspended after the Annexation of Crimea, for the first time in seven years. Russia is expected to further shake the unity of the NATO-North Atlantic Treaty Organization, where the ministerial talks with France were held last year, and the relations between the Member States are notable.

Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov and Mr Shoig held a so-called 2 + 2 foreign and defense ministerial consultation in Rome, Italy.

In this context, Defense Minister Shoig said, `` It is of great significance to resume regular contact between the top of the military, '' and in a meeting after the talks, `` The increasing threat of terrorism and cybercrime in Europe. Can co-operate, "stressed Russia's role.

Meanwhile, Italy's Foreign Minister Dimaio also responded that "Russia is indispensable" for stability over the situation of Libya in North Africa, where the former colony was divided into two.

Russia's ministerial talks with Italy were suspended after the annexation of Crimea, so it was the first time in seven years since 2013, and last September, France resumed talks with France.

Russia's relations with the United States, which embraces its first principle, and Europe are intensified, and Turkey's relations with NATO member states, such as purchasing weapons from Russia, are noticeable. By doing so, it seems that NATO's unity will be shaken even more.
