A new suspect was arrested and placed in police custody on Friday, as part of the investigation into the murder of a 19-year-old prostitute, on the night of February 9 to 10, in Montpellier, in the Hérault region, Indicates the parquet floor this Tuesday at 20 minutes.

A scene of rare violence
Originally from Seine-et-Marne, the victim, who had rented an apartment on an online platform near the Montpellier train station to work as a prostitute, had been found in a pool of blood. She died on February 11 of her injuries.
The suspects allegedly broke into the apartment while a client was leaving it after having had a paid relationship with the victim. The client and the alleged pimp, held in respect, could only witness an unleashing of violence.
He wanted to "get his money back"
The autopsy of the victim's body reported traces of blows to the head, bruises on the face, a double fracture of the jaw and various bone depressions. The victim was also stabbed several times in the chest.
The main suspect, accused of having raped the young woman, reportedly said that he "freaked out", wanting at all costs to "get his money back". When she was the victim of an outburst of violence, she would have given 100 euros to the suspect, before designating a bag, containing 400 more. During the searches, the investigators discovered, in the apartment, a briefcase belonging to the young woman containing 10,000 euros.
The man, accused of the murder of the young woman, presented as a "drug addict", has already been convicted 15 times by the courts. His partner, suspected of having transported him, is also prosecuted. The couple, as well as the last suspect, arrested on Friday, were placed in pre-trial detention. The investigations are continuing.
