Last year, the Employment Service decided to close several offices around the country. In Östergötland it was about offices in Åtvidaberg, Kinda Finspång and Valdemarsvik. But in the regulatory letter for 2020, the Swedish Employment Service was tasked with ensuring a functioning business and equal service throughout the country. The local presence can be expressed in own offices, in collaboration with other municipalities or through government service offices.

Now, the Employment Service has provided a first location description for the 132 locations where the authority has decided to close offices. The location description shows that only the situation in Finspång is not yet completed in Östergötland. But according to the compilation, there is a dialogue about collaboration solution.
