"We believe that today's result is ... a revolution against democracy, a betrayal of the will of the people ... In fact, we consider this result to be illegal," the Prime Minister of Afghanistan announced.
He also announced his victory in the presidential election and the creation of an “inclusive government”.
According to the official results, the current president of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, won 50.64% of the vote, and Abdullah - 39.52%.
Earlier, an independent election commission declared Ghani the winner of the presidential election in Afghanistan.
