Already in 2002, the man was convicted of gross sexual exploitation of minors and child pornography offenses to four years in prison. In 2010, he was again convicted of serious child pornography crimes. The penalty was patronage.

On April 25, 2017, he was arrested again. In the man's home, police found computers, USB flash drives and hard drives with a total of 78,937 child pornographic images and 1723 movies. The material contains pictures and videos that show when very young people are subjected to serious abuse.

In the investigation, the prosecutor can also show that the man has downloaded pictures and films since May 2012. The court believes that the crime must be assessed as serious, partly because "the business has been of a larger scope and has been going on for a long time."
