I consider “#Post-Victory” an extremely important project, like a number of others that currently exist in our country. Its value lies in the fact that it is both the connection of generations and the translation of the themes of memory of the Great War into the format of personal communication, dialogue with participants in events. And, of course, this is a personal filling of the history of the war, it is of particular value, because there are too few veterans who are participants in the war, ”the expert explained.

At the same time, Shapovalov added that the dialogue of generations is also important because of the campaign to distort the facts, which jeopardizes the process of disseminating historical truth.

“In the context of a large-scale campaign to falsify history, there is a threat that new generations will not know the truth about the war. And the result will be that "the Americans liberated Auschwitz," or that "the USSR participated in the war on the side of Nazi Germany," he concluded.

Earlier, the RT channel launched a new project #Post-Victory, which is dedicated to the stories of veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

The project will collect the stories of those who survived the blockade, signed on the Reichstag, sheltered Soviet soldiers who fled from concentration camps.
