Just before last year went into a new decade, the spread of the new corona virus, covid-19, began. Since then, more than 71,000 people have been infected worldwide.

The worst hit is China, where 1,770 people have died. A total of five deaths have also been confirmed in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, Japan and France.
