The company announced its readiness to comply with the requirements of the legislation of Russia and adapt its activities in accordance with the adopted laws.
“We are ready to cooperate with local and global partners, especially since we already have experience of such cooperation,” the press service said.
The company noted that "Samsung has the experience of preinstalling the most popular applications for consumers from Russian developers."
In early December 2019, Russian leader Vladimir Putin signed a law on the mandatory pre-installation of Russian software on electronic equipment.
Later, the Federal Antimonopoly Service submitted proposals for preinstalling software on gadgets.
