Most active subscribers using mobile Internet were registered in Moscow (27 million).
Next come St. Petersburg (9.2 million), Krasnodar Territory (6.7 million), Sverdlovsk Region (4.1 million) and Tatarstan (3.9 million).
Least of all subscribers were registered in Sevastopol (11.7 thousand), Chukotka (50.8 thousand), the Jewish Autonomous Region (129.7 thousand), Magadan Region (145.3 thousand) and the Altai Republic (190 , 6 thousand).
As explained by RT in the press service of Rosstat, this indicator does not take into account people, but SIM cards with Internet access. According to the calculation methodology, the number of subscribers is the number of numbers used.
In total, at the end of September 2019, 144 million active mobile Internet subscribers were registered in Russia.
