February 17, 2020 Following inspections requested by the Commissioner at the Prefecture of Genoa, as part of the Anti-Mafia Protocol, access to the construction site of the bridge over the Polcevera of a trucking company for which the Prefecture of Reggio Calabria has issued has been blocked an interdiction order. The company was supposed to make some deliveries in the bridge reconstruction site, but it had an interdict issued by the Prefecture of Reggio Calabria because it was colluded with the 'ndrangheta.

The work continues
With the completion of pile 12, in the east part of the construction site of the new viaduct on the Polcevera, the construction of the vertical structures of the bridge will be officially concluded tomorrow. This was announced by the builders of the PerGenova consortium, which unites Salini-Impregilo and Fincantieri. Tomorrow, on site, an inspection will be held by the managers of the consortium together with the CEO of Salini Impregilo, Pietro Salini. The two commissioners for the bridge will also be present, the president of the region, Giovanni Toti, and the mayor of Genoa, Marco Bucci. The appointment is at 1pm.
