This was reported by the Russian Embassy in Japan.

“There were no requests from the Russians asking for evacuation from the ship,” the RIA Novosti quoted the embassy as saying.

The embassy proceeds from the assumption that the Russians will remain on the liner until the end of the quarantine, tentatively until February 19.

“To date, none of the Russians has been diagnosed with coronavirus,” the department said.

The embassy continues to interact with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health of Japan on all issues related to the provision of assistance to Russians.

Earlier it was reported that the number of coronavirus infected on the Diamond Princess liner in Japan increased to 355.
