The Iranian leader noted that "in the current difficult conditions of sanctions and the heavy pressure that is exerted on the people of Iran, the Chinese government has maintained friendly relations, especially in preserving the nuclear deal, in international negotiations, in the UN Security Council."
“On the issues on which we should be together, China and Russia have maintained very good relations with Iran,” he added.
Earlier it was reported that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
It was noted that the parties discussed issues of further strengthening Russian-Iranian multifaceted cooperation.
