But Agnes Buzyn finally gave in to repeated and insistent requests from the management of En Marche, for which she was the ideal candidate. She is a woman, a heavyweight of the government. Coming from civil society, she therefore embodies the values of the presidential party.
This choice is therefore that of combat: it means that LaREM intends not to drop anything in Paris by sending one of its figureheads to raise the glove against Anne Hidalgo and Rachida Dati.
Already foreseen for the European elections
Agnes Buzyn had already been one of the personalities envisaged to lead the list to the European elections. It was also a question before the Griveaux affair that it presented itself in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
She will ultimately head the list, and should leave her ministry to devote herself to this electoral campaign. A campaign at short notice, in circumstances of crisis. A real challenge for a woman who has never been elected.
