“The participants launched the International Committee on Libya in support of the decisions of the Berlin Conference,” the document says.

They also called on the parties to the conflict in Libya to observe a ceasefire and expressed their commitment to the decisions reached at the conference in Berlin on January 19.

"They called on the parties operating in Libya to support the ongoing ceasefire and accelerate negotiations to achieve a permanent ceasefire," the document says.

According to German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, the next meeting on Libya will be held in March in Rome, chaired by Italy.

Maas also said that numerous violations of the arms embargo in Libya have been recorded in recent weeks.

On February 13, the UN Security Council adopted a resolution approving the outcome of the Berlin conference on Libya.

It reaffirms support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Libya. The resolution also called for an immediate ceasefire without preconditions.
