February 17 20200.00 Armed men attacked a village in northwest Cameroon, a province populated by the English-speaking minority, and killed 22 people mostly children, nine under the age of 5, and women, one also pregnant. This was reported by James Nunan, UN chief for the coordination of humanitarian affairs for the north-western and south-western regions of Cameroon, the two provinces devastated by three years of fighting between the army and separatist rebels.
