The inspiration comes from Queen Silvia's children's hospital in Gothenburg, which has bought similar cars.

"Hopefully the cars can cause the children to yearn for the next sleep instead of thinking that something is scary," says Bodil Forenius, pediatric nurse at the pediatric oncologist at the Academic Children's Hospital.

The target group is children aged 3-6 and the children can drive the electric car themselves, or you can also let an adult steer the vehicle with the help of a remote control.

The speed of the electric car can be compared to if you were to go at a fast walking pace.

Fast-paced premiere tour

One of the first patients to try the electric car was four-year-old Annie Slagbrand Flyckt, who found it a little difficult.

- It was a little scary, but I don't want to talk about it, she says.
